We wish to present a site that's clear and easy to use. To that end, we use web standards and underlying technologies as much as possible. For instance, our site is hosted at Kattare.com, which uses Java 1.4, Apache 2.0, and Tomcat 4.0.
All content on this site, except where otherwise noted, is written by Patricia Perkins. The site design and implementation (and some text editing) is by Stephen Grenholm. The elegant logo was designed by Marisa T. Howenstine, designer/writer.
In addition, all the HTML (the markup language used to produce the content you see) strictly adheres to the most recent standards, XHTML (the XML definition of HTML; we use the "transitional" variety) and CSS (Cascading Style Sheets):
A wonderful tool for determining if HTML is standards-compliant is to use HTML Tidy, now at Sourceforge.net , an open-source development resource.
